Oh, Hello! I’m Zak. An LA-based WGA writer & versatile producer who’s above-the-line written, produced, and marketed well over 250 episodes of TV and podcasts and even some of those Snapchat shows.

 

I grew up in Seattle, where I used to sneak the equipment out of film class every weekend to shoot skate videos and comedy sketches with my friends. I also won “best hair” in the yearbook, and I’m still not sure if it was a nice thing or a good prank, but I owned it either way.

A music video I made in college connected me to LA 15 years ago, and I’ve never looked back. After working in commercials, hidden camera, sketch, and comedy/variety, I’ve learned to thrive in collaborative environments, managing creative teams and overseeing projects from ideation to delivery.

That’s the fancy-jargon-linkedin-cringe way of saying I’m a dude who really loves to make stuff, and I've been lucky to work on successful projects with great people.
