Oh, hello! I'm Zak, an LA-based creative producer and writer.
Currently I'm building Sweaty Sets — a comedy-meets-fitness vertical series that hit 10M+ views / ~10% engagement / 97% organic discovery in 90 days with zero ad spend. I also consult and produce for creators looking to launch formats, and develop repeatable series for Home RenoVision DIY (4M+ subs), where my videos have generated millions of views.
Before that I was a writer/producer on Tosh.0, which was Comedy Central's highest-rated show at the time, averaging 3.7M viewers. It was there I learned to be a team leader, a fast writer, and be naked and hurt on national TV a lot.
Over my career I've written, produced, and marketed 300+ episodes across hidden-camera, sketch, comedy/variety, branded content, and scripted for NBC, Cartoon Network, Bravo, Paramount, All Things Comedy, Snapchat, and more.
I grew up in Seattle, where I used to sneak equipment out of film class on weekends to shoot skate videos and comedy sketches with my friends. I also won “best hair” in the yearbook, and I’m still not sure if it was a nice thing or a good prank, but I owned it either way. A music video I made in college connected me to LA, and I never looked back.
All that to say I’m a dude who really loves to make stuff, and I've been lucky to work on successful projects with great people.
